Combining stop-motion animation and British humour, THE PIRATES! BAND OFMISFITS welcomes audiences aboard a ship of adventure. The film wasunder-appreciatedin theatres, but audiences will have another chance to join the fun with the film’s release on DVD and Blu-ray.
The film follows Pirate Captain, voiced by Hugh Grant, as he sets sail with his crew of misfits to win the “Pirate of the Year” award. Along the way, they must battle Queen Victoria, team up with a young Charles Darwin and endure a few surprises. The fun-filled voyage is not without crazy pirate antics and hilarious dialogue.
