THE SIMPSONS’ executive producer, Al Jean, announced at Comic-Con this weekend that the world’s famous yellow family will be crossing paths with the misfit crew of the Planet express in 2014!
In the episode, Bender will travel back in time to kill Bart in order to stop him from making a mistake that causes havoc in the future. The voice actors of FUTURAMA, including Billy West and Katey Sagal, will also be guest-starring in this episode.
“FUTURAMA is such an easy fit,” Al Jean said to ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY. “It’s really funny, and their show lends itself to any variety of plot lines. By having them on, we have a little freedom… The biggest thrill for me is that we don’t have to adjust the animation style.”
