The map of Canada shines with coast to coast adventures and stories. CBC’s Cross Country Fun Hunt invites families to explore together as a host guides a cross country road trip, stopping at places suggested by kids from every province and territory. Since the show began, Saturday mornings have gained extra energy, turning family time into adventure time. The idea behind the series is simple: turn ordinary places into memorable experiences and turn a map into a shared canvas of community fun. The top ten entries highlight what makes different communities unique while inviting others to add their own locations to the map.

1. Erin, thirteen, and Jordan enjoy a Bixi bike ride through the streets of Montreal, Quebec.

2. Jordan joins a tug of war at Camp Kanawana in Saint-Sauveur, Quebec.

3. Nathan, seven, and Jordan practice karate in Clarenville, Newfoundland.

4. Jordan, Stuart, and Elizabeth search for amethyst in Thunder Bay, Ontario.

5. Jordan, Drew, and friends get ready for paintballing in Brockville, Ontario.

6. Lacey, thirteen, and friends ride in a hot air balloon over Prince Edward Island.

7. Jordan, Levi, and friends raft on the Shubenacadie River in Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia.

8. Callista, fourteen, and Jordan learn to kiteboard in Squamish, British Columbia.

9. Jordan, Brooke, and Kara hit the slopes in Whistler, British Columbia.

10. Jenessa and Maya, both eleven, along with Jordan spend time on a pontoon boat in Regina, Saskatchewan.

Readers are invited to add their location to the Fun Hunt map by visiting the Fun Hunt site and sharing the best thing to do in their city, town, or community. In December, all submissions go to a vote, and the winning location earns a Fun Hunt concert in its community featuring Jordan Francis and Victoria Duffield.

Viewers can tune in to CROSS COUNTRY FUN HUNT on Saturdays at 9:30 a.m. CBC time, with regional variations, on CBC. By catching the secret codes hidden in the episodes and submitting them online, participants stand a chance to win a trip to a Fun Hunt concert or an iPod touch.
