Ever since the conclusion of the TOY STORY movies, its creators have been struggling to find a way to keep the beloved characters from simply disappearing into history without resorting to useless sequels. The idea to create occasional shorts starring Woody, Buzz and the rest of the gang was suggested and now the first short has been confirmed!
This short will be titled TOY STORY OF TERROR and will premiere on ABC this October, presumably in time for Halloween! The short will feature Woody, Buzz and the rest of the TOY STORY gang and will tell the story of Bonnie and her mum stopping at a creepy motel while traveling with the toys where chaos ensues!
The 30-minute short film will feature Jessie as the main character with a different character starring in each short. The shorts all take place after the events of TOY STORY 3 when Andy has passed on his beloved toys to Bonnie.
