The future looks bright as Teletoon just announced two new upcoming shows!
A reboot of INSPECTOR GADGET is in the works! Some of you may remember reruns of the original cartoon created in the ’80s or the INSPECTOR GADGET movie from 1999. The quirky part-robot, part-uncle is back in a new computer animated series on Teletoon!
Inspector Gadget, Inspector-in-training Penny and their dog Brian will once again go against the evil organization MAD. In this new series the main villain is Dr. Claw’s evil genius nephew and you can expect even more clumsy gags from Gadget himself! While there is no set release date, we are very excited to see INSPECTOR GADGET return to television.
Teletoon also announced a completely original show called PIRATE EXPRESS, set to air in fall 2014! This wacky show looks like it will be a blast as it focuses on Newt, the son of Poseidon and the new captain of The Pirate Express. Newt and his crew must go on various sea adventures and if they fail as pirates, they’ll be banished to live in a ship in a bottle forever!
We can’t wait for these two shows to hit Teletoon!
