Season 4 of the insanely popular CW drama, VAMPIRE DIARIES, has just wrapped up leaving fans with many questions unanswered. Now, the creators of the series divulged some information that may or may not make it into the show’s next season!
Since the group has graduated high school, they will be starting college and will be meeting a bunch of new people, so there’s a good chance that the cast will grow for season five. Tyler may be returning to Mystic Falls as well and we’ll find out what Jeremy’s cover story for being alive is.
The next season will also likely give us more information of the Salvatore family and Silas’s relation to it. It’s likely that Damon and Elena will discover these secrets together while fighting off Katherine who is taking her frustrations out on Elena. Meanwhile, Bonnie will continue to be a series regular, but will only be able to communicate with Jeremy.
Though Klaus and Elijah are in New Orleans now, there will still be enough room for them to occasionally return to Mystic Falls and for VAMPIRE DIARIES characters to cross over on to THE ORIGINALS!
Basically, it seems that the next season will focus on answering any questions viewers have after the season 4 finale, but these rumours all have to be taken with a grain of salt since the season has not even finished being written, yet, so anything could happen!
