In 2000 a feature film was made inspired by the popular RPG game, DUNGEONS AND DRAGONS. The movie was a massive flop, but now the game is getting a second adaptation!
Warner Brothers have reportedly obtained the rights to the movie based on the popular game and have already begun production! The film is being written by David Leslie Johnson who is known for writing WRATH OF THE TITANS and RED RIDING HOOD, so we’re suspecting it’ll be a great story!
The director being considered is Courtney Solomon, who is responsible for directing the original 2000 flop. However, we’re reminded to consider the fact that technology has come a long way since 2000 and fantasy films are much more realistic looking now. Taking into consideration the improved technology available, we think it’s very possible that Solomon could make a hit out of the upcoming adaptation of the game!
