Everyone’s favourite drama-snob is back in her own spin-off movie on DVD and Blu-Ray today! SHARPAY’S FABULOUS ADVENTURE stars Ashley Tisdale and Austin Butler, with cameos by Pat Mastroianni (Joey) and Lauren Collins (Paige). Disney meets DEGRASSI? Sure, why not.
SHARPAY’S FABULOUS ADVENTURE shows off Sharpay Evans’ life after graduation from East High School. The pink donning, Legally-blonde-like Sharpay performs a dance number in front of a famous producer Jerry Taylor (Pat Mastroianni) sending her on an adventure through New York City… where her dog lands the part, not her. Between diva Broadway stars, penthouse makeover montages, and – of course – feel good musical numbers, SHARPAY’S FABULOUS ADVENTURE is… everything it’s expected to be.
The Blu-Ray and DVD both include two featurettes, THE EVOLUTION OF SHARPAY (which shows the character development through the HSM series), and AUSTIN CAM (behind the scenes footage from Austin Butler on set of the film), as well as a blooper reel. The digital soundtrack is also being released today, with the hard copy available May 17th.
