We’ve already expressed our love for THE MUPPETS (specifically our web editor, who deemed it “the perfect movie”), and we couldn’t be more excited about it coming to DVD/Blu-ray on March 20th.
THE MUPPETS tells the story of Walter, the world’s biggest Muppet fan, who gets to travel from his home in Smalltown, USA, to the big city of Los Angeles. Accompanied by his brother, Gary (Jason Segal), and Gary’s girlfriend, Mary (Amy Adams), the three go to visit the Muppet Theater, which has since become a decrepit, abandoned building. Walter accidentally overhears the plan of rich oilman, Tex Richman (Chris Cooper), who wants to eliminate the Muppet Theater and drill for oil beneath it. In an attempt to save the theater, Walter must track down Kermit and the gang for one last telethon and raise the money needed to keep the beloved Muppets’ headquarters!
