Everyone, stop what you’re doing. If you haven’t learned already, Canadian coffee and doughnut giant Tim Hortons is doing a complete overhaul on its coffee cups. (Yes, it is a slow news day).
Tim’s has just announced that they’ll be adding a brand new 24-ounce mega cup, aptly named the “extra large cup”, on Monday, Jan. 23rd. This new change means a whole shift in the TH cup game: small becomes extra small, medium becomes small, large becomes medium, extra large becomes large, and the new extra large is the new extra large. (If you’re confused, refer to the chart above).
Sure, it’ll be confusing for the Timmy lovers of Canada, but it won’t confuse them nearly as much as Starbucks sizing does. (“A tall means SMALL? What kind of a place is this? What could VENTI possibly mean?!”).
