Now that the team has their uniforms, they are one step closer to the Nationals. Has the team finally solved all their problems?
Back at the Studio, Kate gets the team together to tell them the rules of Nationals and announce the auditions for solos and duet.
Chloe suggests Eldon and Michelle do the duet part of the competition, since they practically won Regionals for the team. But due to his new deal with Hunter, Eldon can’t have anything to do with Michelle. He tells the team he doesn’t want to do the duet, and everyone is shocked (especially Michelle!)
At Culture Shock, James goes to talk to Eldon. Eldon finally confesses that he lost the Dance Battle to Hunter and ever since he’s been lacking confidence.
Meanwhile at the dance studio, Kate asks everyone what they will be auditioning for. Off the bat, Eldon says he wants to audition for male soloist and so does Daniel.
When Kate asks everyone who would like to do the Female Solo, no one answers. She decides to let everyone think it over and hopefully some girls will change their minds. She then calls Michelle back into her office.
Hunter runs up to Michelle and asks if she wants to do the duet with him. Michelle is hesitant but agrees because it’ll take her mind off of Eldon.
At Culture Shock, Chloe sees Margie (from her Baby Ballet Class). Margie gives her a pep talk to audition for the Female Solo.
It turns out Kate wanted to talk to Michelle about auditioning for the Female Solo since she had previously won it at her old studio. But Michelle has already agreed to do the duet with Hunter. Kate finally convinces Michelle by telling her that the team really needs a strong female soloist.
Back at the studio, Kate asks the team who will be doing the duets. Hunter is really upset when he learns that Michelle backed out of their duet. Emily feels really bad for Hunter, so she announces that they will be doing the duet together.
The auditions are underway, first will be the duets and then the solos. Everyone does a fantastic job; Kate and Phoebe are going to have a tough time choosing.
Finally they emerge from the office and:
The male soloist is Eldon!
The female soloist is Michelle!
The duet is Riley and James!
Riley goes to tell James the good news, since he is practicing with Beth. She walks in to find him kissing Beth!
