Today is the 24th birthday of VAMPIRE DIARIES and former DEGRASSI: THE NEXT GENERATION star, Nina Dobrev.
This Canadian-born starlet started out as a model before graduating on to acting roles. She has since appeared in many television shows and movies and her career is showing no signs of slowing down!

- Her full name is Nikolina Konstantinova Dobreva and she was born in Sofia, Bulgaria
- She is fluent in English, Bulgarian and French
- Co-hosted and designed a t-shirt for Free The Children’s annual even, We Day
- Attended Toronto’s Ryerson University to study sociology, but left in 2008 to pursue her acting career
