Jessie J has recently announced that she wants to shave her head on live television in an effort to raise one million pounds ($1.61 million CAD) for charity! It seems the songstress got the idea after visiting sick children in hospital, where she was recovering from a broken foot.
We can understand how raising money for hospitals would be an important issue for Jessie, since she was diagnosed with an irregular heartbeat at only 11. Healthy now, she told a UK radio station that not only would shaving her head be a great way to raise money, it’d be a good way for her to change her image from her trademark bob. “I want to get rid of that. I just want to make money and think it’s going to be an amazing way to do it,” said J.
