Britney Spears is going blue for THE SMURFS 2 by recording a special song for the upcoming movie’s soundtrack!
The song is called “Ooh La La” and will play during the end credits of THE SMURFS 2 which will hit theatres on July 31. Britney stated that she’s been a long time fan of the little blue cartoon characters, so being a part of the feature film was only natural!
She went on to add that her sons are also huge fans of the Smurfs and she “wanted to surprise them with a song in the movie. I know they’ll think it’s Smurftastic.”
Britney’s not the only pop star attached to THE SMURFS 2, though. Katy Perry will be returning to voice Smurfette in the sequel which finds the Smurfs heading to Paris, France!
