Canada’s very own Billy Talent has just announced details for their fourth studio album, ‘Dead Silence.’The album’s cover artwork, designed by Ken Taylor, was posted on www.billytalent.com. The album will be released in Canada on September 7th, 2012.
‘Dead Silence’ was recorded in Vancouver and Toronto and was produced by Billy Talent’s guitarist, Ian D’Sa. D’Sa has worked with other bands such asDie Mannequin, One Second 2 Late and The Mahones. He alsoco-produced his band’s second studio album, ‘Billy Talent II’ with Gavin Brown.
So far, Billy Talent has released one song from their upcoming album, called “Viking Death March.” The song quickly gained popularity and soon after the band took a break from recording. Instead, they attended major music festivals in Europe, such as the Rock Am Ring festival, where they played in front of a huge audience of over 115,000 attendees.
Billy Talent will be playing at Toronto’s Edgefest on Saturday, July 14th, 2012. Then, they will be touringAustraliain the beginning of August before flying over to Europe again to perform for many other music festivals.
