Filming for the pilot of the highly anticipated GIRL MEETS WORLD has begun!
New cast members met with the cast of the original BOY MEETS WORLD on set. Rowan Blanchard, who plays Cory and Topanga’s daughter Riley, and , who plays Riley’s best friend Maya, were super excited to meet the original cast!
Rowan posted the above picture on Instagram, writing “Rider Strong and Will Friedle visited us! OH MY GOSH”
Rider played Shawn, Cory’s best friend, and Will played Eric, Cory’s older brother, in the original series.
Sabrina posted this picture on Twitter with the caption “Shawn and now Maya What an honor to meet you Mr. @RiderStrong.” Both of their characters are the best friends of the main character!
The girls also met Maitland Ward Baxter, who played Eric’s college roommate Rachel.
Ben Savage (Cory), Danielle Fishel (Topanga), and William Daniels (Mr. Feeny!) were all on set as well!
