Seven years ago Teletoon aired the first episode of JOHNNY TEST, introducing 11-year-old Johnny, his genetically engineered dog and best friend Dukey and his mad scientist older sisters Susan and Mary to Canada. Fast forward through dozens of amazing science experiments with him as the guinea pig and we finally arrive in 2013, with the 100th episode premiering next month.
Considering that he’s had adventures with robots, aliens and even an alternate universe version of himself, it’s funny that the words, “Whoa, didn’t see that coming” continue escaping Johnny’s lips. All that adventuring has to come to a halt, however, because this time around he’s the one trapped in a deep fairy tale slumber! Now it’s up to Susan, Mary and Dukey to wake up their brother and best friend before it’s too late.
The 100th episode ofJOHNNY TEST premieres at 7:30 p.m. ET/PT on Wednesday, November 20, but the fun starts hours before that. Starting at 3 p.m. ET/PT is a marathon of your favouriteJOHNNY TEST episodes. On top of that, there’s even more JOHNNY TEST with Season 1 episodes airing Tuesdays to Fridays at 5 p.m. ET/PT, from Friday, November 1 to Friday, November 22.
Now, you may be thinking, “Wow, this is more Johnny Test than I can handle.” Well, you’d be wrong, because SMASH BADGER 7, a game specially made for the 100th episode, hits teletoon.com on the same day of the premiere. One day later on Thursday, November 21, and yet another game is launched with JOHNNY TEST: GRAVITY PANTS.
JOHNNY TEST is a show that’s loved by both English-speaking and French-speaking audiences all across Canada, and even in countries like Germany and Korea. Teletoon is very proud of what it’s been able to create for kids across the globe and strongly believes that it’s a show worth celebrating. They’re not stopping after 100, either, with Scott Fellows, who created the show, announcing that he is “[looking] forward to working together to create many more hair-raising adventures for Johnny, Dukey and the gang.”
