The 2012 MuchMusic Video Awards are quickly approaching (has it been a year already?) and the first performer has been announced: Katy Perry!
The pop star will be returning to the MMVA stage for the second time to add to the annual loveable chaos that goes down at the MuchMusic headquarters year after year.
Perry hasn’t performed at the MMVAs since 2010 when she showed up to the party in an ice cream truck and did a “Candyfornia” themed performance. Who knows what theme she’ll pull out of her tickle truck for this year? We vote for “under the sea”… but we suggest that theme for everything.
In other Perry news, KATY PERRY: PART OF ME will be released in 3D on July 5th. The movie gives a background look at Katy’s life on and off the stage (think NEVER SAY NEVER meets GLEE: THE 3D CONCERT MOVIE).
