Starring Hugh Grant (his first ever animated role!), Salma Hayek and Imelda Staunton, THE PIRATES! BAND OF MISFITS tells the story of a group of amateur pirates who set out to find treasure to help their leader, The Pirate Captain, achieve his lifelong goal of winning the Pirate of the Year Award. Of course, being amateur pirates, there are no smooth sailings as they try to plunder various ships.
Director Peter Lord said that he was really excited about using computer graphics to add effects like the sea and the scenery to enhance the stop motion features, so you should be excited about seeing it! Besides the stunning visuals, it has a witty script, stand up cast and a quirky storyline that’s sure to delight audience members of any age.
