Captain America is back in action! The official trailer for THE WINTER SOLDIER finally made its debut on the web today, and offers a brief glimpse of the latest installment of the Marvel franchise.
Looks like the spotlight has returned to Steve Rogers for the first time since 2011’s THE FIRST AVENGER – strugglingto embrace his role in the modern world, he must team up with Black Widow to battle a powerful yet shadowy enemy in present-day Washington, D.Cas an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. Add to that the introduction of a new S.H.I.E.L.D. leader, Alexander Pierce (played by Robert Redford – what?!), and Captain America definitely has his hands full this time around!
The movie boasts a seriously star-studded cast: Samuel L. Jackson plays S.H.I.E.L.D. director Nick Fury and Scarlett Johansson is Black Widow! Emily VanCamp also graces the screen as Agent 13. And if the trailer is an indication, the film will be as action-packed as it is star-strewn.
