David Beckham only recently retired from playing professional soccer and the world famous athlete may already have another career up his sleeve: actor!
Apparently, Beckham has been offered a role in an upcoming spy thriller titled THE SECRET SERVICE, based on the graphic novel of the same name by Mark Millar. The movie tells the story of an established secret agent who must team up with a eager young upstart to battle an evil villain.
The film will star Colin Firth, Samuel L. Jackson and Michael Caine and now maybe even Beckham! The soccer star was offered a cameo in the film in order to boost the movie’s profile and help spread the word. Becks was apparently asked by the film’s star, Colin Firth himself, if he’d be interested in a small role, but Beckham has yet to confirm.
