Pokemon is finally coming to 3D with Pokemon X and Pokemon Y, two brand new games for the Nintendo 3DS console.
This is the first time Pokemon will be playable in 3D. Not too many details have been released yet, but the game trailer (which you can see below) features new adventures, places to travel, music, and of course, a new generation of Pokemon to collect. In the picture you can see Fennekin (a fire-type), Froakie (a water-type), and Chespin (a grass-type), three new characters that players can start the game with. Like Pokemon games released in the past, older recognizable characters, such as Pikachu, also make an appearance in the new games.
The game will be available later this year in October, according to a recent announcement by Nintendo. Unlike in the past where the game was first released in Japan before the rest of the world, this is the first time that players worldwide will get the game at the same time. Players will be able to discover the new 3D world and uncover all the new secrets together.
