After serving two seasons as a judge on the U.S. show, THE X FACTOR, Demi Lovato is leaving her seat. She says she is quitting her position to focus on her primary career as a singer.
Since releasing her fourth album, ‘Demi,’ in May, she’s been so busy on THE X FACTOR and GLEE that she hasn’t had time to tour yet! In February 2014, the 21-year-old is set to embark on her Neon Lights Tour with some famous X FACTOR U.K. alum, including: Fifth Harmony, Cher Lloyd and Little Mix.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Lovato said, “It’s been really great, but I’m so excited for 2014. I’m going to dedicate it completely and entirely to music — touring and making a new album. Possibly releasing one.”
Fox has not publicly said anything about Lovato’s departure yet.
But there are bigger problems for the show, too. As this season has experienced the lowest ratings — pulling in just 5 million viewers during its finale — its fate is unknown. Fox has not yet renewed the show for a fourth season, although Simon Cowell hinted on Twitter the show will continue, but that some changes will come.
I don’t know what is in the water this year but there have been so many incredible songs released this year. From all over world.
