Exciting news for X-MEN fans! New images have been released for the highly anticipated new film, X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST.
The new film will star James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Hugh Jackman, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Anna Paquin, Ellen Page, Halle Berry, Peter Dinklage and Shawn Ashmore.
X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST will be a sequel to X-MEN: FIRST CLASS. The movie was adapted from two issues of Marvel Comics’ UNCANNY X-MEN. The story is set in an alternate future where surviving mutants were kept in concentration camps, while most of the X-Men had been killed. In order to stop this bleak-looking future from occurring, the X-Men had to stop a specific event in the past. Sounds like BACK TO THE FUTURE just without Michael J. Fox.
X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST will be released in theatres on May 23, 2014.
